Melissa & Doug toys with direct shipping from USA to Russia from Myhabit

Myhabit offers international shipping for many items. But in many cases one can't ship pretty heavy. Yesterday I did manage to order 7 Melissa & Doug toys with 3 other items. Direct shipping to Russia costed me only 15 USD.

UPS (United Parcel Service) has acquired i-parcel

i-parcel is a service allowing American and British merchants to localize their web-site, accept international payment method as well as international shipping to many countries of the world. On October 7, 2014 UPS announced the acquisition of i-parcel. Now the i-parcel web-site features both UPS and i-parcel

The largest US online retailer Amazon, as well as its subsidiary - Myhabit private shopping club - use the following international shipping methods:

• UPS courier service (AmazonGlobal Priority Shipping), 
• i-parcel (AmazonGlobal Expedited Shipping). 

It will be interesting to see whether the companies will start using each other assets as well as whether the prices will go down or not, whether the conditions will change or not. Also it is interesting whether UPS is considering to acquire the main rival of i-parcel - Borderfree (former FiftyOne).
