Can the "2220 Meridian Blvd, Suite # XXXXXX, Minden, NV 89423, USA" address be used for scams and frauds?

Yes it can be used for legit as well as illegal activities like ANY other address. BUT I and many of my friends use it for making legit purchases in US online shops that don't ship overseas. Also even US individuals and US companies use Shipito package/parcel forwarding service for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, or Federated States of Micronesia.

  2. I personally have been using the services of Shipito for more than 3 years. Shipito has tens of thousands of customers if not hundreds of thousands. Few of the clients can be scammers, but Shipito forces account verification and poses account limits, so chances that their warehouses are used for scam are pretty low. Even if you become a victim of the credit card fraud, Shipito blocks such accounts immediately.

  3. Yes. I had 3 fraudulent ebay transactions sent to this address. Alexander Popov was the ship to receiver - no wonder he left a positive review.

  4. I haven't used Shipito since 2014, since there are better options from customers from Russia. Posted about them long ago:

And you could google the most popular names and surnames in Russia before posting BS.

Amazon is still doing its investigations and I am really pissed off. This if FRADULENT MAIL BOX WHERE HACKERS ARE MAKING FRADULENT PURCHASES. THIS IND OF COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO EXIST.
REALY PEOPLE MAKING REAL PURCHASES WILL SHIP IT TO S LEGITAMITE ADDRESS AND NOT THIS ILLEGITIMATE SHIPPING WAREHOUSE.
    THIS PLACE SHOULD BE BANNED.

    1. All freight forwarders can be used for illegitimate activities. Shipito has a verification process for its clients, which makes them unhappy. It is much easier to use other freight forwarders for fraud, not Shipito.

Since you already contacted Amazon, make sure to contact Shipito as well and notify them about any illegal activities you faced. Chances are you will be able to get your money back and Amazon will get the goods shipped to Shipito back.

To prevent any losses in the future:
      1. Use different complicated passwords for online services
      2. Update your OS and check it for viruses. Use safer operating systems like Mac OS or Linux.

  9. Make sure to contact Shipito and eBay to let them know. Also it might be a good idea not to connect eBay and Paypal account as well as use different complex passwords for every web-site.

  10. I don't believe that my interaction with Shipito will turn out to be fraudulent as it is just a $4.95 purchase. I am still waiting for payment. As Alexander Popov has pointed out, a proper password for online accounts is essential. I am not a sales representative for LastPass; however their password manager is free and works extremely well. I have passwords up to 100 characters long and have no problem keeping track of them and even change them regularly. With LastPass, you only need to remember one password, which is the one to the LastPass program. It really gives me peace of mind.

    1. Thank you for suggesting lastpass. Although personally I don't trust any online services to store my passwords, preferring open source software like Keepass, it is a good tip.

    1. Write to Shipito a.s.a.p.

I suggest you not to link paypal and ebay no matter how convenient this is. And always use different passwords for paypal and ebay.
