Kent Frankovich used crowdsourcing for Revolights several times. Two Kickstarter campaigns were very successful, allowing to gather 215 and 95 thousand dollars exceeding pledged amounts several times.
Thanks to the crowdsourced capital Revolights CITY v2.0 Bike Lighting System can be purchased at Amazon for $230. The innovative bike lighting system had excellent reviews at Amazon.

But Revolights CITY v2.0 Bike Lighting System is a step further. It is now only a decoration for the wheels, but also
- Works as a headlight illuminating the ground in front of the front wheel of the bike
- Senses when the bike rider slows down to alert car drivers
- Provides 360-degree visibility and massive illumination of the bike, so it can be noticed by car drivers in the darkness/li>
- Highlights road obstacles better because of the low origin of the LED lighting allowing ground objects to stand out.
