USPS Priority Mail International price increase

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has increased its price rates on May 31, 2015. On average Priority Mail International will be 6.8% more expensive, while Priority Mail Express International will be 6.7% more expensive.

Package forwarders offer different kinds of international shipping methods that exclude USPS. For example, for Russia Shipito offers Boxberry and SPSR Express, Qwintry offers SPSR Express as well as its own express shipping Qwintry Air, Fishisfast offers Fastbox Economy and Fastbox Express. In many cases shipping rates offered by alternative couriers were lower than of the USPS. The price increase will only force customers to use other alternatives.
