Some samples on how much it costs to send packages/parcels to Russia using USPS and Shipito (2010-2011)

Shipito allows you to shop online in the USA and then ship your parcels/packages to international addresses. Shipito has one of the best shipping rates (compare with their competitors).

In this article I will show you some real examples how much shipping to Russia costs. You can notice that USPS Express Mail is slightly more expensive than USPS Priority Mail, but the former allows to deliver your parcels/packages much faster (usually 2-3 weeks instead of 2-3 months), plus your packages will be delivered to your door.

  11. I don't work for Shipito :) But Shipito doesn't support Meest as a shipping method. The best shipping methods for Russia at the moment are USPS Express Mail, USPS Priority Mail and Shipito Airmail Priority. The latter one is cheaper for lightweight and small packages, plus it can be used for shipping lithium batteries.

  12. I used it once for sending a magazine. But new Shipito Airmail is different now. Not only it is cheaper for small and lightweight packages, but also allows to send lithium batteries (so you electronics with lithium batteries can be delivered to many countries of the world via regular postal service). And Shipito Airmail Priority packages can be insured now.

  13. I don't really know any solutions for shipping electronics to military and diplomatic addresses (APO, FPO and DPO addresses) except for removing batteries before shipping. If you need your package to be delivered through your state postal service and not a courier service like Fedex, UPS, DHL Express, you can still do it using some freight forwarders. For example, Shipito freight forwarder allows to send lithium batteries and electronics through the Shipito Airmail Priority shipping method.

Besides many people buy not only electronics, but other things in the USA. Personally I buy more clothing, shoes and many other non-electronics goods at Amazon, sports stores and private sale sites than electronics.
