www.jaksta.com complaints: Reports that Jaksta is a scam, fraud

Are there any complaints about www.jaksta.com? Is Jaksta a scam or fraud?

What is Jaksta (www.jaksta.com)?
Jaksta is a joint venture between Applian Technologies Inc. of the USA, and Jaksta Technologies Pty Ltd. of Australia.

Jaksta is one of the BEST streaming audio/video downloaders. Jaksta allows to save video and audio files from thousands of web sites as they play on your Mac and PC.

Jaksta was originally written for Windows PCs in 2008, and then rewritten as a pure Mac application in 2011. As new streaming protocols and formats are introduced, the developers behind Jaksta are dedicated to keeping these programs at the forefront of technology.

Jaksta products are fully DMCA compliant, and do not decrypt or otherwise circumvent strong copy protection mechanisms in violation of international laws. However, 99% of all streaming video and music is unprotected, so with Jaksta you'll be able to capture and save almost everything you find on the Internet.

I've tried Jaksta for Windows in 2008 and have been monitoring the company since then. It has been recommended by many users of the Streaming audio/video recording forums.

I've tried Jaksta for Mac in 2011. Still see no major complaints. And since Jaksta offers demo versions, you can try their software before buying.

I've been checking both Jaksta and Jaksta for Mac with VirusTotal, but haven't found any viruses, spyware or malware.

The websites that used to offer web based conversions and now only advertise or redirect to advertisements of Jaksta are absolute sellouts.

I have no problems with the software, but seriously- if you don't provide your (web based) service anymore, they shouldn't PRETEND to. It's frustrating to bounce between five different URLs that no longer provide a web based solution because they still use the same keywords and rank in the top search results for queries that are halfway irrelevant to their websites now.

  4. I don't really know such domains. But even if they do this, their message is probably clear enough that you need to download software whether free or not. And even if you buy any commercial software from Jaksta by mistake, you can always use a 30-day money-back guarantee.

p.s. Also note that Youtube blocks online downloaders on a regular basis. And it is great that you can at least use software that is free for downloading from Youtube.

  5. Hi Edgar - I work for Jaksta. And I know there is a company online that is selling Jaksta at a discounted price (It retails for $49.95 for Mac and 39.95 for Windows from us) and the codes they are giving out don't work. We have had several of their customers contact us with issues. I have been trying - so far unsuccessfully - to stop this site from claiming to sell correct versions of Jaksta. The only place to buy Jaksta online is from the Jaksta site - we don't work with resellers. I am sorry this happened to you. And I am continuing to try to get this site stopped.

  6. Hello, Jaksta is not identifying anything on youtube. What is going on. It doesn't even pick up every track. The ones it does, for music, it remains UNKNOWN when it comes time to name the track. This is not what I paid for. I want my money back.

  7. Hello,

Do you really expect to get your money back by posting a comment in this blog???

Jaksta offers a free trial version. You may try it before buying it.

Jaksta has a support team, so you may contact them and ask to help to solve your problem.

Jaksta comes with a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee. And there is no problem getting your money back, but obviously not through this web-site.
