There are several other baby shops in Germany that ship to Russia directly and exclude VAT, namely:

  • maxis-babywelt.demaxis-babywelt.de offers car seats, strollers, toys, clothing,... International shipping rates depend on the weight and the country. Shipping to Russia from 29,99 EUR to 69,99 EUR. Web-site in German, English and Russian.

  • babyshopbabyshop.de offers car seats, strollers, clothing,... The costs of the international shipping fees depends on the weight and the country. Simply select your delivering adress in your Shopping Cart. Web-site in English and German.

  • kidscomfort.eu offers car seats, strollers, chairs, beds, toys,... Shipping costs for packages up to 20kg to Russia is 50 EUR. Shipping rates for other countries vary. You can save 3% by paying with Paypal. Web-site in English and German.

  • kidsroom.de offers car seats, strollers, bikes, toys, baby clothes, baby furniture,... The correct shipping costs you will see, if you put the item in the basket and choose the right shipping country. Web-site in German, English and Russian.

  • loopoo.de offers toys, strollers, bikes, furniture,... Shipping to Russia from 25 EUR. Web-site is in German.

  • PingPong Online offers strollers, car seats, chairs, bikes, toys. Web-site in German and English.

German shops usually ship to Russia by DHL and accept debit/credit cards and paypal. Personally I've made 4 purchases at Maxis Babywelt, KidsComfort and KidsRoom.de, and I'm very happy about it. All my car seats, strollers and bikes were delivered just fine.

Have you purchased anything from Germany from outside Germany? Were your purchases free of VAT? What German online stores do you recommend?

  1. Hi,

I would like to buy a Puky bike (tricycle). Any of these German online stores can sell it to me?

  8. I've bought Puky Ceety tricycle at Kidsroom. Feel free to check other stores mentioned in the article.

If you live in the EU and don't need VAT to be excluded, you may check many other German online stores as well.

  9. I wrote about all my purchases at KidsRoom:

Hartan Buggy IX1 baby stroller and PUKY Dreirad CAT S6 Ceety bicycle
Cybex Pallas 2-Fix car seat and Cybex Topaz baby stroller
Britax Romer Baby Safe Plus SHR II car seat

I haven't tried any other German online stores yet. But I've read reviews about all the shops mentioned in the article.

  10. It is really great that VAT can be exluded! And you don't need to pay any extra fees to your freight forwarder. However if you make many small purchases, you may prefer to use package consolidation offered by freight forwarders.

  11. I make most of my purchases in the USA, so haven't discovered any other shops yet. I've bought car seats, baby strollers and bicycles in Germany, because they are heavy and it is too expensive to deliver them from the USA.

  16. You can pay with Paypal instead of credit card. Then you will be able to get your money back in case of a problem. If you won't get your order in 40 days, just open a claim at Paypal.
